In the modifier panel for Lattice modifier, make sure "Both" is selected under the "Geometry" group. Then set the Parameters for "Struts" as Radius = 0.5, Sides = 8 and "Smooth" is checked.

In the "Joints" group choose either "Octa" or "Icosa" option and set Radius = 1, Segments = 2 and "Smooth" is checked.

Add a "Meshsmooth" modifier to the basket and set appropriate "Iterations" value. Apply appropriate materials to both the objects. That's all. However, you could play with various parameters of Reactor. I have just discussed the least process.
